Bourbon Barrel Items
I use authentic bourbon barrels to make unique items. The white oak of the barrel makes the wood strong. The stains and dings collected when the bourbon was aging give the wood character which I try to highlight in my pieces.
Adirondack Chairs
These chairs are made using the staves. The chairs can be fixed (as shown in the picture) or can be made into rockers. the width and height can be customized to meet your specific needs.
Wall Art
The woven wall look is created by screwing the staves together. In this design, the staves are sanded, stained and lacquered to reveal the look of the wood without erasing the character created with the bourbon and the rings. These pieces are large, but can be customized to fit into your space.
Engraved Bourbon Barrel Heads
The bourbon barrel heads can make great decorations and can be engraved with many different images. I disassemble the heads and clean them, reassemble them with glue and add a back plate for stability them sand them smooth before engraving.
Wall Hanging Bourbon Bar
Using the staves and other oak pieces, this wall hanging bar makes a great addition to any home. I can personalize with custom engraving.
